Condition

The canvas is original and is very slightly slack in the stretcher and undulated slightly in the corners. There are two light scuffs to the left edge. There is a very light layer of surface dirt to the work. Subject to the above the work is in excellent overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of restoration or retouching. The work is float mounted within a simple white painted wood frame.
