« Man Ray a fait les rayographes sur une feuille de papier photographique, posée sous l’agrandisseur, il dépose un choix d’objets, puis allume la lumière quelques secondes, ce qui impressionne le papier sensible et donc crée le rayographe, unique par définition. Puis, lorsque l’image positive est bien lavée et séchée, il la photographie pour obtenir un négatif qui servira, pour toutes les reproductions qui seront les images collées des « Champs délicieux » (donc photographies originales de Man Ray) et les images des publications. Lucien Treillard ».
