Description

  • Gilt-bronze
assis en vajrasana, la main gauche tenant un bol à aumône et la droite levée en karana mudra, le visage souriant encadré de boucles d'oreilles pendantes, les cheveux relevés en un haut chignon derrière une large couronne représentant les effigies des cinq Tathagata, le torse richement paré de bijoux et couvert d'une longue robe, la base scellée avec une inscription Yuan ci gongde mianxiang zhongzhong zhu e qu diyu guichu sheng shenglaobingsi ku yi jian xi ling mia Dizi Chaimen Xin shi

Condition

The figure is in very good overall condition. There is overall light wear to the gilding. The gilding on the face, hands and feet has disappeared. There is a tiny, ca. 0.3x0.3cm large filled-in casting flaw to the back of the figure. There are traces of blue and red pigments to the hair and back of the crown. The base was opened in the past and is sealed with an inscribed plate.
