Condition

Overall very good condition with no damage or restoration detected. Please note that the color in the printed and online catalogue is inaccurate. The green tone in the photograph appears too blue/green. In reality the green is a more attractive and warmer yellow/green. The top section of the vase is in reality a greeny brown – not the amber brown that is depicted in the catalogue photography. The top of the vase was cut and factory polished before the vertical (inciso) cuts were executed. Some of these vertical cuts extend very slightly over onto the polished edge. Another example from the Nebbia Lunare series with a factory cut top is illustrated in Domus, no. 386, 1962. A color scan of this page can be sent upon request. Overall this represents a rare opportunity to acquire a scarce model.
