Condition

Please note that the height of the gueridon is 25 1/2 in. (64.8 cm). Overall in good condition. The wood has been sensitively refinished and presents with a rich red hue. The wood surfaces with a few light surface scratches, minor abrasions and light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. The top is slightly warped. The edge of the top with a few minor discolorations and a few minor sensitively undertaken restorations. The top of one leg with a professional restoration, which is just below the top and only visible upon close inspection, and stable. The metal feet with some rubbing, surface scratches, minor abrasions and minor discolorations consistent with age and gentle use. The gueridon is sold with a later glass top which protects the top of the table and presents with a few light surface scratches and surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. A rare variation of an extremely stylish and dynamic design by Ruhlmann, which has remained in the same collection since the 1960s.
