Condition

The canvas has not been lined. There are a few small spots of paint loss in the tree and foliage in the centre right of the composition. Ultra-violet light reveals no signs of retouching. There is a small area of fluorescence in the horizontal tree trunk in the centre which appears to be associated with the absence of varnish. Overall, the picture is in good condition, presents very well and is ready to hang. Presented in a simple gilt frame.
