Condition

The x-ray reveals that there is a ca. 6x3cm wide piece that is broken out of the rim and broken into two pieces that were restored. There are scattered flakes to the rim that have been painted over. The unglazed base is inscribed with the inventory number D.W. 1599 in black. The bowl is stoutly potted, the glaze a darker and less reddish tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
