Overall in very good condition. With a few minute air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not at all visually detracting. The interior coupe with some very light surface soiling. As is commonly seen in flowerforms, the bottom of the interior coupe with some very light scattered red spotting, which is inherent in the sprayed application of the iridescent surface treatment (not visually detracting). The underside of the foot is slightly higher on two opposing sides and as a result sits slightly unevenly on a flat surface. The latter could be easily minimized/corrected with small felt glides. A gorgeous example distinguished by the highly unusual and graceful silhouette of the upper flower bowl and vigorously ruffled rim. The interior of the coupe and underside of the decorated foot are beautifully iridized, imparting the vase with strong luminous color and a rich rose-orange hue on the exterior. The green pulled feather decoration is sensitively rendered, showing the superb control and skill of the gaffer. Please note that the catalogue photography was taken with both frontal reflected and interior remitted light; when viewed under standard reflected light conditions the vase is less saturated in coloration; the coloration is more subtle and naturalistic. -----
