Description

  • PORCELAIN
  • 21cm., 8 1/4 in. high
painted in the manner of Johann Gregorius Höroldt, with a continuous scene of chinoiserie figures in a rocky garden, one figure holding a parasol over a seated colleague who feeds a tiny lapdog, another figure working at a smoking brazier, birds and insects in flight above them beneath a broad border of gilt scrollwork, the domed cover with similar scenes, crossed swords mark and dot in blue enamel, gilt numeral 66. to both,

Condition

Overall in good condition with minor wear to gilding, particularly to the rim and tip of spout.
