Description

  • height 28 in.; width open 39 1/4 in.; width closed 19 1/2 in.; depth 24 in.
  • 71.1 cm; 99.7 cm; 49.5 cm; 63.5 cm
Each with a rectangular top incorporating a drop leaf with chamfered corners at each side, the frieze with a single drawer with repoussé brass handles, the whole raised on turned tapered legs ending in brass feet.

Condition

Overall good, restored condition with an old, polished surface now with nice patina. The underside of one table routed to stablize warpage with subsequent inlaid battons and fillets; some slight warpage to flaps; front molded edge to the same top replaced; age crack and shrinkage to drawer and with some sticking. The other table with minor warpage to top; the flaps with warpage and now with a later thin board to underside, possibly to stabilize warpage; top of back right leg with old repaired chip; drawer bottom with large age crack. Tables are lacking caster wheels. Overall with some small nicks and chips to extremities with minor repairs to veneers of edges.
