Provenance

The Sender Collection, New York

Condition

These two photographs are in generally very good condition. 'Union Station - Chicago,' circa 1942 - As is typical of ferrotyped prints, superficial surface scratches, pitting, and a slight unevenness of the generally glossy surface are visible. In raking light, scattered sharp creases, some of which may break the emulsion, are visible. 'Chicago's World's Fair,' 1933 - In raking light, a few soft handling creases, which do not appear to break the emulsion, are visible. This print is trimmed to the image on 3 sides, and there is light wear and some attendant chipping along the trimmed edges. The reverse is lightly soiled. When examined under ultraviolet light, these prints do not appear to fluoresce.
