Condition

This unique object, on Agfa paper, is in generally very good condition. The photograph is signed and annotated '1984 Diary' and 'Cassis B. du R.' in white ink. It is further annotated in black ink: 'Borders des Rhones Arles + aix, La Batterie, Cape Canoille, Razor's Edge, S. M. + P. G.' As is typical of Beard's works that feature blood, some of the blood is cracking and has become discolored. The small collaged photographs feature alligator carcasses and hunters. The newspaper headline reads: 'Kidnapped pair in bold freedom jump.'
