each piece decorated with a gilt band of dots around the rim, comprising: a circular tureen and cover, a butter dish, cover and a boat-shaped fixed stand, an oval dish, two elongated octagonal dishes, three boat-shaped dishes, eight shell-shaped dishes, four shaped square dishes in two sizes, three octagonal dishes, four large plates and a sauce tureen, cover and fixed stand. 31 pieces.

Condition

All in good condition, except: The circular tureen and cover: the tureen has a hole in the center, measuring approximately 1/2 –inch in diameter; it is possible that the tureen was previously mounted with ormolu and the break was caused by tightening of the screws. Elongated octagonal dishes: One has a ½-inch re-gilt rim chip. Boat-shaped dishes: One has an approximate 1/5-inch chip to the rim edge. Shell-shaped dishes: One has a 1-inch rim chip to the rimedge at the handle, mostly to the underside and only visible from the exterior for ¼-inch chip and an associated fine haircrack running down to the center. Another has a ½-inch rim chip and a long starcrack to the base extending upwards for ½ inch. Another has two small chips to the underside of the rim and a small chip to the footrim. One dish has an approximate 1/5-inch rim chip. Another has an approximate 1-inch haircrack to the cavetto area and a last one has a re-gilt 1-inch rim chip. Square dishes in two sizes: one of the larger sized dishes has a small re-gilt rim chip. Octagonal dishes: One has a pinhead chip to the rim edge. Large plates: One plate has a ½-inch rim chip to the underside of the rim, not visible from the exterior; another has a fine extended haircrack running across the base. Sauce tureen, cover and fixed stand: the knop of the cover has been off and re-stuck.
