Condition
There is a diagonal crease of approximately 15cm in the board to the left of the signature. There is a pin hole in the centre of the top and bottom edges and in the upper left corner. The edges bear light frame abrasions from a previous frame. Discrete areas of craquelure are visible in the red of the figures' scarves. There are some minor spots of water staining throughout the composition and a light layer of surface dirt. Examination under UV light reveals retouching to the upper left and central parts of the sky. Held behind glass and floating in a gold coloured frame.
