Condition

This print, on heavy double-weight paper with a glossy surface, is in generally very good condition. Visible in raking light is a small deposit of retouching in the suit jacket of the central mourner. There is sunning at the periphery of the print in the margin, and, as a result, the title, signature, and date are very faded. The margin corners are bumped, and the upper margin corners are creased. There is a faint gray strip (possibly stray exposure) at the upper margin edge, and there is creasing in the lower margin. None of these issues affects the image. When examined with ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
