Description

  • bamboo (bambuseae)
skilfully carved in the form of a furled grape leaf stemming from a gnarled branch, the branch further issuing a cluster of plump globular grapes on the underside of the vessel, the interior and exterior of the vessel naturalistically picked out with fine veins of the leaf, the stippled surface of a slightly variegated brown patina
