possibly Zerbst, naturalistically modelled as a recumbent spaniel.

Condition

The base has some restoration around the edge of the flange, probably covering chips, which extends down into the body in places, where it is probably covering related haircracks. There is an approximate 2 1/2-in. area of restoration along the edge of one side of the cover, some restoration to chips along the edge of the other side and several restored haircracks behind the ears and tail of the dog.
