Condition
Restored condition; decoration refreshed throughout; the upper section originally fitted with adjustable shelves to the central section between the banks of six drawers and now with four later small drawers above a later pair of doors flanked by a later pair of pilaster-fronted drawers; mirror plates replaced; the lower section with a later leather lined writing surface; the central prospect door appears to retain the majority of its original decoration; feet and apron possibly replaced. The surface is sturdy and the drawing and japanning is excellently done; some very minor nicks to the extremities.
