The complete portfolio, comprising ten screenprints in unique colour combinations, 1980, each signed in pencil, inscribed and numbered TP 17/25 (trial proofs aside from the numbered edition of 200, total edition includes 30 artist's proofs), the justification also signed and numbered, on Lenox Museum Board, with the printer's blindstamp, Rupert Jasen Smith, New York, published by Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, New York and Jonathan A Editions, Tel Aviv, with the publisher's and the artist's inkstamp on the verso, with the original cardboard box, each framed

Condition

The full sheets, printed to the edges, in good condition apart from a soft wave in the sheet at the upper and lower corners, each framed. Very minor imperfections in the individual sheets are: Kafka (F. 226) - minor surface scuffs visible in the dark background in a raking light Stein (F. 227) - a few tiny rust flecks at centre of upper sheet edge Buber (F. 228) - infrequent and very minor surface scuffs are visible in a raking light Brandeis (F. 230) - very faint surface scuffs are visible at lower left in a raking light Gershwin (F. 231) - very minor surface scuffs visible in the green, a tiny paper accretion below the ear Marx Brothers (F. 232) - a thin graphite line at centre just to the left of the fez (measuring 4cm) The cardboard box stamped with the title and the artist's copyright, with occasional creasing and skinning.
