Condition

This early print, on double-weight, slightly warm-toned paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. As is typical of Woodman's lifetime photographs, it has been printed somewhat askew on the paper. The margin edges are somewhat rubbed, and there are tiny rust-colored and gray deposits of indeterminate nature in the upper right margin corner and left and right margin edges. The edges are very lightly age-darkened. When examined in raking light, small handling creases are visible in the lower margin, not affecting the image. The reverse exhibits faint staining at the left and right edges.
