Condition
To the naked eye:
The painting appears in moderately satisfactory condition.
The canvas has been lined.We notice a fold on the canvas that has caused some losses in the left border (30 cm. long), 60 cm from the bottom.
We notice 3 scratches on the floor at the lower part of the composition and a small hole above the tip of the right officer's left foot and a restoration next to the officer on the right, 20 cm. long.
We notice a lot of repaints (some due to pictorial matter's losses).
We notice a small hollow on the right shoulder of the left officer.
Under UV light:
We notice a uniform green varnish.
We notice numerous repaints already mentioned.
