Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is beginning to flake especially in the areas of dark foliage. It is covered with an even but slightly discoloured old varnish. Some small retouched losses are visible to the naked eye in the sky beside the tree on the left. Inspection under ultraviolet light shows the aforementioned restoration, and in addition a few tiny spot retouchings in the sky upper left. In good overall condition.
Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame, in good condition.
