Description

the larger lower bulb brightly painted with peony branches issuing from pierced rocks below ruyi clouds and a keyfret band, the waisted shoulder encircled by shaped floral cartouches reserved on a diaper band below a chevron border, the upper gourd similarly decorated with chrysanthemum and lily in a garden with pierced rocks below a foliate scroll, the rim encircled by a wide floral diaper band
Condition
An at least 15 cm wide part restored on the neck. A ca.1 cm flake in the paste of the unglazed footrim. There is general wear to the enamels, glaze scratches, and minor glaze firing imperfections.
