- fully marked inside bases, marked on covers of boxes with maker's mark, lion passant and date letter
- silver, wood
- length of boxes 1 1/2 in., length of spice box 3 7/8 in.
- 3.8 cm, 9.9 cm
with five square boxes and a container, initialed tops, in leather holder. Together with a four-compartment silver spice box, crested and initialed top, maker's mark EC only, circa 1770.
