Catalogue Note

This is a reprint of the 1501 Juvenal and Persius, but with the addition of the device to the title-page. The colophon at the end of the Juvenal reads "in aedibus Aldi, et Andreae soceri" rather than "apud Aldum", as found in the 1501 edition. This woodcut device was in use between 1512 and 1515.
