Oil on original canvas. The canvas undulates slightly at both the upper corners and at the lower right corner. There are two repaired tears to the canvas, one measuring approximately 3cm. in the upper right quadrant, near to the painted red area, and one measuring approximately 3cm. towards the centre of the lower horizontal edge. There is some slight rubbing around the edges of the canvas, with some small losses. There are one or two very minor lines of craquelure in the more impastoed areas of paint. There is some light surface dirt and one or two spots of staining. Ultraviolet light reveals two areas of fluorescence inkeeping with the two repaired tears mentioned above. Unframed.
