Condition

Panel is uncradled. Under a slightly dull varnish. The paint surface has been well retained overall and there is very nice detail throughout. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some retouches to the red tablecloth at right, a few very small ones on the figures, and here and there in the background mostly at far left, right and upper edges. Painting can be hung as is. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame with a cartouche at top center.
