The flexible line necklace supporting an orchid, set at the front with five cushion-cut pink sapphires weighing 18.45 carats, the center of the orchid set with diamonds of pink and yellow hues weighing .33 carat, further set with round near colorless diamonds weighing 9.86 carats, length 16¼ inches, signed Cartier, numbered 69329A.
Condition
In very good condition. Very light scratching throughout, commensurate with wear. The sapphires weigh 5.09, 4.15, 3.14, 3.13 and 2.94 carats per a receipt from Cartier. The sapphires range from a medium to medium-deep, very slightly purplish pink and are eye-clean to slightly included. The white diamonds are approximately F-G color, predominantly VVS clarity. The colored diamonds are a light purplish pink and medium deep yellow, VVS-VS clarity. Fitted with a safety clasp. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 68519 stating that the sapphires are of Madagascar origin, with indications of low temperature heating.
