Pair of Platinum, Colored Stone and Diamond Pendant-Earrings, Mauboussin, France

Suspending pendants of floral design, set with round, old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.35 carats, accented by carved, cabochon and calibré-cut buff-top rubies, sapphires and emeralds, signed Mauboussin, France, numbered X889; circa 1930, the earring posts and wires of later addition.

In very good condition with gentle surface wear to the mountings. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The medium-deep blue carved sapphires and medium green carved emeralds are translucent and typically included. One carved sapphire bears a drill hole indicating its previous use as a bead. The medium pinkish red ruby beads and cabochons, medium-deep blue sapphire cabochons and medium green emerald cabochons are lively in color and lightly included. Nice movement when worn. Earwires may be easily removed. The posts currently without backings. Lengths approximately 2 3/8 inches.
