Designed as a butterfly decorated with cabochon colored stones, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 2.30 carats, gross weight approximately 11 dwts, signed Bulgari, with French assay and maker's mark; circa 1969.

Condition

In very good condition with some minor scratching and surface wear to the mounting, mainly on the reverse. The cabochon rubies are a medium pink-red and moderately to heavily included. The cabochon sapphires are a medium to medium-deep slightly violetish blue and moderately to heavily included. The emeralds are a medium very slightly bluish green and moderately to heavily included. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. Dimensions of brooch approximately 1 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches. With French maker's mark on pinstem.
