Description

  • Oscar Heyman & Brothers
  • platinum, emerald, diamond
Set with six emerald-cut emeralds weighing approximately 10.30 carats, accented by old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 7.35 carats, length 7¼ inches, unsigned; circa 1920.

Condition

In very good condition. Gentle surface wear and nicely flexible linkage, and the undergallery's foliate engraving remaining crisp. The medium, slightly bluish green emeralds are well-matched for color and moderately included. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VS clarity. Unsigned, but accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Oscar Heyman & Brothers. Please note the bracelet is set with six emeralds, not three. The total weight of 10.30 carats remains the same.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Prospective buyers should inspect each lot to satisfy themselves as to condition and must understand that any statement made by Sotheby's is merely a subjective qualified opinion. Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
