Of graduated design, composed of 84 natural pearls measuring approximately 7.2 to 3.3 mm, the clasp set with pear-shaped and rose-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum and white gold, length 18 inches, the clasp numbered 3, with French assay and partial workshop marks; circa 1910. With vintage case stamped 'Rattermann, Cincinnati.'

Condition

In good condition, some fraying to the string where the safety chain attaches and generally stretched string. The near-round pearls are a creamy golden hue with overtones peach, pink and green. Good luster and minor to moderate wrinkling and pitting, and slight peeling to some of the skins. Diamonds are approximately I-J color and SI clarity. Fitted with a safety chain.
