Condition

The board appears sound. There are perhaps one or two losses to the oil paint around around the extreme edges of the board. This excepting, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition.Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.The work is floated within a gilt batten frame, housed in a simple painted wooden frame with linen slip.Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
