Condition
The sheet appears sound. There is a small repaired tear towards the right of the upper horizontal edge, measuring approximately 2.5cm., and another smaller tear measuring approximately 0.7cm in the centre of the right vertical edge, both of which are only visible upon very close inspection. There is some slight smudging to some of the pigments. There is some extremely light discolouration apparent around the edges of the sheet. There are some very minor losses to the gouache in the centre white pigment where it is laid over the blue crayon, with further possible losses to the white pigment elsewhere. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
