Condition

The surface of the work presents some slight craquelure more noticeable along the left border where some restoration is confirmed under UV light. Minor paint loss is visible on the upper left border, where this a gauge/hole to the surface measuring 2 cm in diameter. Paint loss is also visible on the upper right border and lower left corner where buckling and fading is also apparent. Two fine paper tears reveal the masonite support: the first one measuring 18 cm long and running horizontally along the lower left quadrant, the second one to the right measuring 6 cm long, also running horizontally.
