Condition

The canvas is not lined and there do not appear to be any signs of retouching visible under UV light. There are some fine lines of craquelure to the more thickly applied pigments, mainly to the white and some tiny fly spots in areas, visible in the catalogue illustration. The canvas undulates slightly towards the centre of the upper edge. Otherwise, this work is in very good original condition.
