Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals some retouchings along the lower and upper edges due to previous frame rubbing and lines of infill towards the centre of the right edge associated to craquelure. There are some further scattered lines and spots of retouching mainly away from the central flowers. There are fine lines of craquelure throughout the composition and some associated spots of paint loss. There is a rich thick impasto and this work is in overall fairly good condition.
