  • A FINE ENAMEL MINUTE REPEATING DESK TIMEPIECECIRCA 1910
  • Gilt metal, enamel
  • height 7 cm (not inclusive of pusher), width 4.7 cm, depth 3.8 cm
• gilt brass movement, platform escapement, repeating on two gongs • white enamel dial, pierced hands, Breguet numerals, white enamel bezel • guilloché case overlaid with translucent lilac enamel, opaque white borders, cabochon repeating pusher, all surmounted upon four ball-form feet • dial signed, case with hand-stamped reference numbers, movement signed Nocturne

Condition

With a key. The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, and the chiming is functioning out of phase and will require adjustment. There are losses to two of the gold dot divisions on the bezel. The lilac enamel is in overall good order with some loss around the repeating pusher. The case is hand-stamped with a quantity of reference numbers: 2240, 72271, 62035, 93371 and 1726. The movement is numbered 1869 and 30225.
