Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a presentation box, certificate of authenticity dated August 18, 2000.

The present lot is a rare example of a Franck Muller minute repeater which carries many of the hallmarks done by Franck Muller himself, from the numeration and reference number, to the engraving of the case. The watch is also the first Franck Muller minute repeater to come to auction which has both a subsidiary seconds and torque indicator within a circular case. The present lot originally retailed for close to $170,000, and presents potential buyers with a rare opportunity to purchase a beautifully crafted minute repeater from what is undoubtedly a very small series, if not a unique piece.
