The openwork bracelet of geometric design, set with three antique cushion-cut sapphires weighing 16.08, 15.80 and 14.61 carats, accented by numerous baguette, old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 34.50 carats, length 7½ inches, numbered 1744.

Condition

In good condition. The sapphires are a light medium slightly violetish blue color and are slightly included. Nice polish, with virtually no abrasions or nicking. Diamonds are approximately G-I color and VVS-SI clarity. Fitted with a safety chain. Tapers from 1 1/4 to 1 inch in width. Of a nice heft and make, comfortable to wear. Accompanied by SSEF report nos. 68822, 68779 and 68778 stating that the sapphires are all of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Please note that there are two diamonds missing and a link is broken. This will be repaired by Sotheby's on behalf of the purchaser.
