Designed as two swirls, centering two kite-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats, accented by round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 4.60 carats, further decorated with square and calibré-cut emeralds, signed Yard; circa 1942.

Condition

In good condition. Minor scratching is evident on the back of the piece, commensurate with age. The piece can be worn as a singular brooch or separated into two smaller brooches. The two kite-shaped diamonds are approximately G-H color, VVS-VS clarity; the accenting diamonds are approximately G-H color, VVS-VS clarity. The emeralds are very slightly bluish green hue and mostly eye-clean with a few examples of slight inclusions including some light facet abrasion and a medium.There are notches on the back of the brooch through which to thread the pins once the pins have been negotiated around the carrier.
