The fantastical unicorn within a swirled mane, set with round diamonds weighing approximately 6.25 carats, accented by numerous yellow sapphires and calibré-cut amethysts, signed Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger; circa 1955.
Condition
In very good condition. The yellow sapphires range in tone from medium light to deep and range in color from yellow to slightly orangy yellow. They are eye-clean overall with a few examples that are lightly included. The amethysts are medium very slightly reddish purple and eye-clean. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS clarity. Diameter approximately 3 inches. Fitted with retractable pendant loop. The Tiffany books note that models of this design were made in both yellow sapphires and yellow beryls.
