The floral spray set with variously-cut blue, pink and yellow sapphires, accented by peridots, further set with old European and old mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat, signed Cartier, London, JC; circa 1930.
Condition
In good condition. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The sapphires are predominately medium deep, slightly violetish blue and lightly included. One cushion-shaped sapphire is light violetish blue and moderately included. The pink sapphires range in hue and tone from light pink to deep very slightly purplish pink. They are predominately lightly included and one example is heavily included with surface reaching fractures. The ruby is medium slightly purplish red, moderately including with a moderate scratch to the table. The yellow sapphires range from light to medium yellow to medium to medium deep slightly brownish yellow. They range in clarity from lightly to moderately included. The peridots range from light slightly yellowish green to deep slightly yellow green, they are both eye-clean but the small round peridot exhibits some minor surface abrasions. Signed.
