Condition
Overall in good condition. Please note that the lot comprises a sofa, two armchairs and an ottoman, illustrated on pages 18-19 and 21 of the printed catalogue. When viewed in person, the rosewood presents with rich figuring and beautiful nuances. The wooden surfaces have been sensitively refinished and present with minor surface scratches, minor evidences of drying to the wood and edge abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. One of the rounded feet of one of the armchairs with evidence of a sensitively undertaken restoration, which does not affect the stability of the armchair. The feet of the ottoman are likely replaced. The suite has been reupholstered in a warm chocolate leather which is in very good condition with minor surface scratches and light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use.
