  • "Camélias" Vase
  • etched Schneider/France
  • wheel-carved glass

Christie's New York, March 16, 1991, lot 70

Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The glass presents with air bubbles that are inherent to the making and part of the decoration. The rim of the vase with some minor imperfection also inherent to the making. The surface with some light scratches and minor surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. A nice example of Schneider production with a beautiful contrast between the clear glass and the vivid color of the camellias. 8 in. diameter
