The print is in generally excellent condition. There is a faint indentation in the lower center of the image which extends into the margin of the print. There is a handling crease in the right margin. There is a 1/16 inch round accretion in the center of the right margin of the print. The corners of the print have been bumped. The print is cockling slightly. A studio label, printed with the sitter's name, is affixed to the reverse of the print. The credit stamp reads 'PHOTOGRAPH BY FRANCESCO SCAVULLO' on the reverse.
