The print is in generally excellent condition. It is flush mounted on mat board. There is a 1/2 inch U-shaped scratch in the left center of the image. There is a 1/8 inch round accretion in the lower right quadrant of the print visible in raking light only. There is minor surface soiling near all edges of the print. The edges of the print are chipping in some areas. There are hinging remnants at the top of the mount. There are notations in pencil reading 'BOTTOM' and '34 x 43 3/4"' on the mount. The corners of the mount are bumped. There are handling marks on the reverse of the mount. The collection stamp reads 'PRINTED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF FRANCESCO SCAVULLO FROM THE COLLECTION OF SEAN BYRNES' on the reverse.
