Claw-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 5.07 carats within a double frame of circular-cut diamonds, brooch fitting detachable, hinged pendant bail.

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 14100041 and SSEF report no. 81863, each stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Mounted in silver and gold. Sapphire measuring approximately 10.3 x 8.6 x 6.0mm, weighing 5.07 carats, strong saturation, medium-deep blue, minor zoning visible under magnification, insignificant chips to girdle. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.00 - 7.00 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity SI-I/Included. Brooch fitting detachable. Safety chain. Hinged pendant bail. Slight signs of tarnish and wear to mount consistent with age. In good condition.
