Description

  • Gold, silver, sapphires and diamonds
Of fleur-de-lys design, set with cushion-shaped sapphires and similarly-cut diamonds, later monogrammed to reverse.   

Condition

Monogram depicting letters 'M' and 'S', dated 14-4-87. Mounted in gold and silver. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.50-6.50 carats, mixed colours and clarities, some stones I Clarity. Central sapphire measuring approximately 9.4 x 8.0 x 6.2 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 3.73 carats, medium blue with good saturation, typical inclusions visible under magnification. Remaining sapphires medium to dark blue, good saturation, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, slight abrasions to facet edges. Secure clasp fitting. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
