7-inch dial with mask and scroll spandrels, matted centre with date and mock pendulum apertures, strike/silent lever at XII, signed on a silvered boss in the arch William King, London, the fusee movement with five knopped pillars, later conversion to half dead beat escapement, striking on a bell and pull quarter repeating on a nest of six bells, the case with inverted bell top and decorated throughout in gilt with sprays of flowers

Dial has blocked mock pendulum aperture, chapter ring and boss would benefit from cleaning/re-silvering, minute hand repaired. Movement has later conversion to anchor escapement but otherwise appears to retain the original wheelwork throughout, would just run at cataloguing but very much in need of a clean and service. Case is rather dirty with some minor losses to the decoration, other old chips, cracks and marks throughout. With pendulum and case key but no winder.
